HEALDSBURG AAUW MEMBER
In the past 17 years, AAUW members have raised over $250,000 for scholarships and education. In recent years, scholarships have been awarded to women re-entering college and to girls about to enter eighth grade to attend Tech Trek, a science and technology camp held each summer at Stanford University. The AAUW also supports supplemental programs in public schools through grants to the Healdsburg Education Foundation and volunteer programs.

The Boys & Girls Club programs surrounds those young people who need them most with an enriching, outcome-driven experience including fun, high-yield activities, targeted programs, and caring adults. The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. The American Heart Association works every minute of every day to advance groundbreaking medical research, spread lifesaving knowledge, and reach out to people of all ages about cardiovascular disease and stroke. Cardiovascular diseases claim more lives each year than cancer, chronic lower respiratory diseases and accidents combined.
COUNCIL ON AGING
The mission of the Council on Aging is to enhance the quality of life for our aging community by providing services that promote well-being and maintain independence. Council on Aging Services for Seniors is a private non-profit organization which has been providing services for Sonoma County citizens over the age of 60 since 1966.
Rainbow Housing Assistance Corporation (Rainbow) is a nonprofit organization that provides service-enriched housing programs for residents of rental housing communities throughout the country. Rainbow provides a custom supportive services solution to every asset served, building a sense of community. Rainbow’s award-winning services package is structured in such a way that it can be implemented to perform for any population or demographic, preserving quality affordable housing for those who need it most.
YWCA OF SONOMA COUNTY
As an affiliate of an international membership organization, the YWCA of Sonoma County has devoted the past 30 years to empowering women and affirming the worth of all people, regardless of gender or race. At the heart of the YWCA Sonoma County programs are their domestic violence services. They provide a secure environment in which women and children who have experienced abuse and/or domestic violence can heal, become self-sufficient and return productively to the community.
