  • Independent review and approval of monthly property level financial statements produced by third party management companies across the US, including sending adjusting entries, as needed

  • Maintenance of various supporting workpapers in Excel including property tax accruals, prepaid insurance, mortgage loan amortization and financing data, partner capital contributions and distributions and other financial schedules

  • Analyze title closing statements and independently develop acquisition, disposition, and refinance workbooks

  • Consolidating property level financial activity into fund level financials

  • Capital Tracking by partner

  • Distributable cash calculations

  • Work with outside auditors on annual audits and reviews

  • Coordination of annual tax return preparation

  • Creation of monthly capital draw packages and funding requests

  • Accounting for active insurance claims including lost rents

  • Monitor lender escrow balances including repair and replacement escrows

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll at the management company level

  • Coordinate wire transfers and ACH payments

  • Other Projects as assigned



  • BS, with major in Accounting

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the real estate investment / private equity sector

  • Multi-entity experience required

  • Highly proficient in Excel

  • Solid knowledge of QuickBooks software is required

  • Knowledge of Yardi or RealPage/Onesite software preferred

  • Self-starter with willingness to learn new software and positive attitude

  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and dependable

  • Active CPA license preferred, but not required

Full-time position, not seasonal

Salary Range $90,000 to $100,000 per year without CPA license

Salary Range $135,000 to $145,000 with CPA license
