Mengali Accountancy, a successful, progressive, values-driven accounting firm located in beautiful downtown Healdsburg, CA, provides accounting and tax services for many diverse, complex and dynamic companies. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a highly motivated team player with 3+ years of accounting experience to process a variety of challenging tasks, primarily for multi-family and commercial real estate clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ​Prepare numerous client payroll, process payroll tax deposits, and quarterly/annual payroll tax returns on various platforms such as TriNet, QuickBooks, Intuit, ADP, PayChex

  • Manage weekly AP check runs

  • Process new vendor setups

  • GL code invoices and credit card statements

  • Process workers compensation reports and audits

  • Manage annual 1099 run

  • Create and distribute invoices

  • Process standard deposits

  • Reconcile bank accounts

  • Produce financial statements

  • Develop and cultivate professional client relationships


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Associate’s degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

  • Solid knowledge of QuickBooks software is required

  • 3+ years of recent accounting experience progressing in scope and responsibility

  • Strong understanding of debits and credits

  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, client service, leadership and PC skills including Outlook, Word & Excel software proficiency (Thomson Reuters and Yardi software proficiency is a plus)

  • Detail-oriented and dependable with the ability to juggle priorities, meet deadlines and develop excellent client relationships

  • Real estate industry experience preferred

Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000 annually DOE
